Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, the foundation of truth, and is the authority for all matters on which it speaks.
II Peter 1:20-21, II Timothy 3:16-17
We believe there is one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
John 14:16-17, Matthew 28:19
We believe Jesus is God’s Son, fully man yet fully God.
Matthew 1:18 & 23
We believe in Jesus’ sinless life, that He came to this world to sacrifice himself for our sins. He died for us, and then demonstrated victory over sin and death by rising from the dead and going to heaven to live with His Father until his future return to take all believers to heaven for eternity.
Romans 5:8-9, Romans 6:23, I Corinthians 15:1-4
The result of Jesus’ sacrifice is that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:8-9, Galatians 2:16
We believe that God is active in our lives and He hears and answers prayer.
Matthew 21:22, Luke 11:10
